The Attorney General by name, Jerry Brown, has put forward the guidelines in
the August 2008. The California Attorney General guidelines are
not pertaining to the court law. They indicate the policies revealed by the State’s law enforcement
officer the rights and responsibilities possessed by the Marijuana patients as
per the existing State law. The publication of California Attorney General Guidelines is a step to force the
cooperatives to follow them and properly organize their dispensaries and run
them according to the law.
